To help promote sailing trips around the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that is Chichester Harbour, Friends of Chichester Harbour has erected a new sign at Emsworth Yacht Harbour advertising Oysterboat Terror and giving a description of the trip and how to book. Also attached to the new sign is a dispenser where a free leaflet can be collected.
The new sign is situated on the lawn by the picnic tables overlooking the marina and also Terror’s berth.
There is a constant stream of walkers, sightseers and berth holders passing the sign every day and its prominent position should help to persuade more people to take a trip on this historic, gaff-rigged Oyster boat.
