Oysterboat Terror completed another successful season last September and is now de-rigged and winterised in Emsworth Yacht Harbour.

During the winter months, members of her volunteer crew regularly check her for water ingress, oil leaks or any other maintenance duties until such time as she is ew rolex gmt master ii 116713 40mm mens automatic black dial lifted out of the water for her annual overhaul and preparation for the new season.

Last year Gates & Co Classic Yacht Services at Emsworth Yacht Harbour carried out an extensive refurbishment, cleaning out and painting the bilges, rubbing down and re-painting the topsides, removing the old flaking deck paint and of course, a new coat of anti-fouling. She looked magnificent when she was re-launched ready for training at the beginning of the season and a list of new jobs is now being prepared for her annual overhaul in the spring.

One major new item will be added for the 2023 season and that is a brand-new overall cover, much of the funding for which was donated by City Livery Company The Skinners Company. Friends of Chichester Harbour who operate Terror on behalf of her owners Chichester Harbour Conservancy, were delighted to receive the generous grant towards the new cover which will replace the original which has been used from the restoration in 2006.

Terror is operated by a dedicated team of volunteers whose numbers have swelled to nearly 40 for the 2023 season. Skippers, crew and third hands take passengers out e cigaret pen 22 Coils on trips around beautiful Chichester Harbour lasting around two and a half hours.
