The beautifully restored 135-year-old Oysterboat Terror has moved from its usual berth at Emsworth Yacht Harbour to the new pontoon at Itchenor. Chosen to coincide with the Chichester Festivities, Terror will undertake two sailings a day for the next two weeks from Tuesday 24th June until Sunday 6th July.

How To Find Oyster Boat Terror at Itchenor.

From the A27 Stockbridge Roundabout at Chichester take the A286 south signposted The Witterings. Follow the road past Birdham, along the Birdham Straight and at the roundabout just after the Shell garage, take the right-hand fork signposted The Witterings, A2179. After a few hundred yards you will see a signpost for Itchenor. Turn right there and follow Shipton Green Lane then Itchenor Road for about two miles until you come to the village of Itchenor. Just before The Ship Inn, turn left into the Chichester Harbour Conservancy car park, PO20 7AE, which is a pay and display. Then walk back to The Ship Inn, turn left, and walk down the street past the cottages to the shore. Your skipper will meet you by the viewing benches in front of the Chichester Harbour Conservancy offices.
