Over the winter months Terror was laid up ashore at Emsworth Yacht Harbour. Once she had fully dried out a team of volunteers got to work to get her ready for the new season. At weekends they were to found scrubbing, rubbing down, repainting, servicing and undertaking all the other essential tasks required to get her shipshape. Volunteer, Jeff Rooney said, it is a pleasure to work on the boat and know that we are looking after a piece of Chichester Harbour’s history’. Trips for the new season start on 17 May.
