We were thrilled to have around 45 people attend a talk in Chichester about oyster boat Terror. The talk was hosted by the popular ‘Talks at Six’ group, who arrange weekly events at the New Park Centre. Most of the people in attendance hadn’t been on a trip and were learning about the boat’s history for the first time. Judi Darley from the Terror Operating Committee, delivered a lively and informative talk giving a good overview of why Terror was built, where her name came from and also the story of her restoration.
At the end of the evening £150 was raised which will go towards having the mast replaced next season. If your community group would like a similar talk please get in touch.
